GRESIK (Yosefardi) – State cement maker PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) and state steel producer PT Krakatau Steel Tbk (KRAS) will set up a joint venture (JV) company for producing slag powder.
Dwi Soetjipto, SMGR’s president director, said the JV will process granulated slag into slag powder (ground granulated blast furnace slag).
He said after signing MoU, both companies will arrange blue print of business process and interest composition on the JV.
