JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Bank Indonesia (BI) facilitated 8 banks actively involved in transaction of repurchase agreements (repo), as pioneer on mini repo master agreement.
This master of agreement aims to support all banks to participate on repo transaction using their financial instruments as underlying assets.
That 8 banks signing repo agreement are Bank Mandiri, Bank Central Asia, Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Bank Negara Indonesia, Bank Panin, Pank Pembangunan Jawa Barat dan Banten, Bank DKI, and Bank Bukopin.
Difi A Johansyah, BI’s spokesperson, said this mini master agreement for repo will be applied for three years while waiting a global master repo agreement formed by the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
