JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has awarded solar power plant projects to 7 companies as the winners of the tender.

ESDM offered 11 locations for the project through a tender mechanism but only 7 locations are awarded to the winning companies.

The government of Indonesia aims to build 80 units of solar power plants with total capacity of 140 megawatts (MW).

The construction of 7 units of solar power plants will take 8-18 months which costs Rp360 billion in total.
