JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Foreign Ministry revealed on Sunday (Apr. 19) that around 32 heads of states have already confirmed to attend the 60th commemoration of the Asia-Africa Conference (KAA).
According to the Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry Siti Sofiah, the conference will be also attended by 40 ministers, 14 foreign ambassadors, 36 observers, and representatives from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the United Nation Development Programme (UNDP).
The 60th commemoration of the Asia-Africa Conference is scheduled to be held for five days from Apr. 19 to Apr. 24, 2015 in Jakarta and Bandung.
The joint security forces from the National Police and the Indonesian Military (TNI), meanwhile, are ready to secure the five days conference. About 2,200 security officers have been deployed to secure Soekarno-Hatta international airport. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
