JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The state budget for 2014 is set for Rp1,842.5 trillion while state revenue is targeted to reach Rp1,667.1 trillion. Then the deficit on budget will total Rp175.4 trillion, or 1.69%.
Next year’s budget deficit widens from Rp224 trillion set for this year. Finance Minister Chatib Basri said the budget deficit will be covered by domestic financing amounting Rp196.3 trillion and overseas loan of Rp20.9 trillion.
While debt to GDP ratio for 2014 is targeted at 23-24%. As of September of this year, government’s debt totaled Rp2,273.76 trillion. Debt in dollar-denomination amounted US$195.79 billion.
