JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Election Organizers Ethics Council (DKPP) has fired 10 members of the Regional General Election Commissions (KPUD) and the Regional Election Supervisory Committee (Panwaslu) across the country as they committed ethics violations.
DKPP chairman Jimly Asshiddiqie said on Tuesday (July 15) that 5 officials have been permanently dismissed. They are Bitsaael Marau, Head of the KPU Sarmi (Papua); M Yasin Pusadan, Head of the KPU Buol (Central Sulawesi); Halim S Sastra and Arianto, two members of KPU Buol; and Hendro Sapotro, member of the Panwaslu Jakarta.
While other 5 officials have been dismissed for temporary. They are Jamalia Tafalas, the Head of KPU Raja Ampat (West Papua), along with his four members.(haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
